This is a fossilized shark tooth.
These are not found on the Hawaiian islands.
Our islands are too young for the shark teeth to be fossilized yet.
However, I do source these teeth from a local shop that was on Front street in Lahaina before the fires.
I have the absolute please of vending with Whalers Locker who supplies the island with the worlds coolest fossils and so much education. I’m grateful to know them and support them in this small way.
This is a Mako shark tooth and is wire wrapped in my signature wrap using Sterling Silver wire.
It hangs on a 20 inch Rollo chain with two Akoya Keshi pearls at the back clasp.
The tooth is 1.5 inches long by 1.25 inches across
