This is a ONE-OF-A-Kind necklace.
Hand-knotted with nylon thread so the piece can get wet. The knotting protects the beads from chipping, hole enlargement, and losing beads should the piece ever get snagged and break.
The beads are gemstones called Amazonite, and I create the ombrè effect myself, bead by bead.
A large Miter shell found unoccupied here on Maui, Hawaii, hangs at the end. It is wire wrapped in Gold fill wire, and the clasp at the back is Gold fill as well.
