This is a hand-knotted Keshi, Tahitian pearl strand. The pearls are saltwater, natrual color, grade AA Keshi grown, Tahitian pearls. Hand knotted using nylon thread so the piece is able to get wet.
The knotting protects the pearls from wear, tear, chipping and hole enlargement. Also, protective should the piece ever snag and break you will never lose and damage pearls.
Attached seamlessly to a gold fill paperclip chain using my own technique.
The piece is 20 inches long.
